Porsche driver stopped by police in Hampshire over front number plate

Officers stopped the grey Cayman GT4 alongside another vehicle with tinted front windows.

The action came after officers were called to remove debris following a crash on the M27 earlier this afternoon.

In a tweet from Hampshire Roads Policing Unit, a police spokesperson said: “Alone with collecting more debris from insecure loads on M27 today these two vehicle caught our attention. 

“Front window tints are easily measures and will result in a fine/points along with removal of tints. 

“Small number plates won’t help identify your vehicle if stolen.”

The standard size of a number plate in the UK is 520mm by 111mm.
